Volunteers are the backbone of this event! It takes hundreds of people to make this event a success and we couldn’t do it without the generous help of some awesome volunteers. We need youth, adults or students of any age who want to help; Groups are also welcome.

KIDS Touchdown Run

Calling all kids 10 and under!
You are invited to participate in the Kids Touchdown Run. The Run will be from goal line to goal line on the football field at the 82nd Street Park just prior to the start of the Quarterback Scramble 5K.

You have the opportunity to Create-a-Memory for 50 very deserving kids!
As a part of the Quarterback Scramble, we are offering an extremely unique sponsorship opportunity. You can directly sponsor a group of 50 at-risk youth to be a part of all the Quarterback Scramble Festivities. Your donation will go directly to fund the entry fees for the kids, the transportation and all related costs for them to be in Stone Harbor the day of the event. Most of these kids have never seen the ocean or a beach and you can give them the opportunity to be a part of a great event and create some of their first (and maybe only) memories of the seashore.
Create-A- Memory
Your sponsorship will provide 50 kids (with chaperones) from at-risk areas to be a part of the entire event, each will receive:
- Entry into the 5K Run/Jog/Walk
- Transportation to/from Stone Harbor
- Goody Bag for each participant
- Lunch
- Sponsor T-shirt with YOUR Company Logo indicating “Team Your Company Name”
- Lunch
- A memory that will last a lifetime
You (your company) will also receive:
- Race course sign
- Special recognition on our website
- Photo Opp on event day with the group that you have “Created A Memory” for
- Inclusion on all PR surrounding the Create-A-Memory initiative (PR provided by Parker & Partners)
